Hi, I'm fairly close to having VU-Find installed, given the instructions..however, when I type vu-find start in command prompt in the c:\vufind directory, I get this message: c:\vufind>vufind start Running command: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\bin\java" -server -Xms1024m -Xmx10 24m -XX:+UseParallelGC -XX:NewRatio=5 -Dsolr.solr.home=c:\vufind\solr -Djetty.lo gs=c:\vufind\solr\jetty\logs -Djetty.home=c:\vufind\solr\jetty -jar c:\vufind\so lr\jetty\start.jar c:\vufind\solr\jetty\etc\jetty.xml Error: missing `server' JVM at `C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\bin\server\jvm.dll'. Please install or use the JRE or JDK that contains these missing components. I notice that there is a jvm.dll file, but it's in a client folder (not server). Why is this? Have I installed the right Java sdk? I also had these issues with installation: 1.) I retrospectively added PEAR to PHP...and it was not contained in a folder called PEAR (I ended up creating one, as the Smarty files go into it...is this okay? What files should be in PEAR folder? I've never seen that Java error before; either there was an installation problem or else the JAVA_HOME environment variable is not pointing to the right place. Which version of Java did you install, or are there pending Java updates you have not yet applied on your system? Regarding PEAR, did you run the install.bat file which comes with VuFind? That should install all of the necessary PEAR libraries (or, if PEAR is not installed/accessible, display some error messages). - Demian From: Cabus, Michael [mailto:Ca...@ph...] Sent: Tuesday, April 30, 2013 2:14 PM To: vuf...@li...
