Dear All, I've installed vufind on a Win machine to test a possible integration interface for our DSpace IR. Unfortunately, just after the installation, I'm receiving the following error. Do you have any suggestion? I've already checked in deep the JERA site Many Thanks Paolo Baglioni Library Systems Analyst http://www.eui.eu <http://www.eui.eu> Session: find: 1 Session: CONNECT: Checking for database specific ini ('') : database_ in options Session: CONNECT: NEW CONNECTION TP DATABASE : Session: CONNECT: mysql://ancora:ancora@localhost/ancora ec2ab93dd54dbecd3bef651e5c9f367f An error has occurred DB Error: extension not found Please contact the Library Reference Department for assistance Notice: Undefined index: HTTP_REFERER in C:\vufind\web\index.php on line 235 Notice: Undefined index: file in C:\vufind\web\index.php on line 242 Notice: Undefined index: line in C:\vufind\web\index.php on line 242 Notice: Undefined index: class in C:\vufind\web\index.php on line 243 Notice: Undefined index: database in C:\vufind\web\sys\Logger.php on line 49 Notice: Undefined index: file in C:\vufind\web\sys\Logger.php on line 52 Notice: Undefined index: email in C:\vufind\web\sys\Logger.php on line 56 Notice: Use of undefined constant PEAR_LOG_ERR - assumed 'PEAR_LOG_ERR' in C:\vufind\web\index.php on line 256 |

Hmm, it seems you haven't used the default name (vufind) for VuFind's MySQL database, but ancora instead. Check if there is a file/symbolic link ancora.ini in the web/conf/ directory of your VuFind installation. If not, copy vufind.ini to ancora.ini in web/conf/ If that doesn't help, there may be something wrong with the MySQL extension in Apache. I haven't used VuFind on Windows, so I have no idea what may have gone wrong with your installation. Looking at the Windows installation documentation at http://vufind.org/wiki/installation_windows it seems this part may be relevant: "The system is going to need to be able to find the MySQL library functions – the easiest way to ensure this is to copy libmySQL.dll from the MySQL installation folder (usually something like C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin) to c:\windows\system32. If you skip this step, you may get errors about a missing database driver when you try to view pages in VuFind." But maybe other users running VuFind on Windows may help...
