Does anyone use indicators for including/excluding fields in your
VuFind setup? We don't see indicators used in any of the VuFind files
and for the Genre facet we would like to exclude foreign languages.
So basically we want to exclude the 650 field if the second indicator
is 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Sorry for the delayed response -- your message was one of several tied up in the moderation queue.
I am also copying this message to solrmarc-tech, since that list is also relevant to your question.
I don't believe there is a way to take indicators into account from your marc.properties file using SolrMarc syntax alone. However, if you create a custom function in a BeanShell script, you can take indicators into account from there -- objects of type DataField have getIndicator1() and getIndicator2() methods available.
For more information on creating custom BeanShell scripts, see the wiki page here:
If that doesn't answer your questions, feel free to post again here!
