Hi, I've been asked if we can include the ISBN and ISSN (020$a and 022$a) in the All Fields search but can't see where I should adjust this. I'm guessing it is something to do with import/marc.properties but this is just speculation so if anyone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful. In marc.properties there is a line; allfields = custom, getAllSearchableFields(100, 900) is it OK to just add on the fields as per the isbn and issn entires further down, e.g. isbn = 020a issn = 022a:440x:490x:730x:776x:780x:785x or is there more to it than that? Actually, the easiest way to do this may be to modify web/conf/searchspecs.yaml. This defines which fields are searched by which search handlers, and how the various fields are weighted against one another. The comments in the file explain the format. It should hopefully be fairly self-explanatory how to add ISBN and ISSN; you can just copy the definitions from the "ISN:" section into the "AllFields:" section and adjust the weights as needed. Please let me know if you have questions about this. - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: Tim Fletcher [mailto:T.F...@bb...] > Sent: Thursday, August 30, 2012 8:50 AM > To: vuf...@li... > Subject: [VuFind-General] Adding to All Fields search > > Hi, > > I've been asked if we can include the ISBN and ISSN (020$a and 022$a) in > the All Fields search but can't see where I should adjust this.
