The process at Yale is similar, but in addition we run a SQL query to find records that have been Suppressed in OPAC since the last update, and add them to the delete list as well (no need to dedupe, since multiple deletions are allowed).

Dean - At Villanova we are processing both nightly updates and deletions. I will see about getting the scripts somehow included with vufind whether in the source tree or on the wiki.
We have a script on the voyager server that runs the pmarcexport script nightly and FTPs it to the vufind server as well as the deletes file. Then another script on the vufind server that runs nightly to run the importer on the nightly updates and also deletes what is in the deletes file. It sounds much more complicated than it really is.
