Hi Karla, did you also see <https://github.com/KDK-Alli/NDL-VuFind/wiki/VuFind-with-MAMPStack-on-Mac-OS-X>? In my experience MAMPStack (not MAMP) has been working very well. While it's not the same as what you're trying to accomplish, I actually like the idea that I have everything needed in one place, and if I happen to, for instance, screw up something, it's easy to start all over... The only instructions I could find online were Ere's using MAMP. I tried using the various linux install directions from the vufind docs, and I think I got PHP and mySQL and the various dependencies installed OK, and VuFind downloaded OK. > > I am stuck on the bits about getting apache and vufind to talk and setting up environmental variables--in part because I don't know the Mac OS syntax and default locations. And of course, I am sure I will run into issues with permissions. > > Thanks, > --Karla > Karla Smith, ILS Manager > Winnefox Library System > Oshkosh, WI 54904 > ~If Truth is Beauty, how come no one has their hair done in the library? - Lily Tomlin > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Master Visual Studio, SharePoint, SQL, ASP.NET, C# 2012, HTML5, CSS, > MVC, Windows 8 Apps, JavaScript and much more.
