Your note is accurate, and that is an appropriate way to clear the cache. I would eventually like to add a "clear cache" tool in the admin area of VuFind, but for now, wiping the directory is the best option. Thanks for taking the time to improve the docs! - Demian ________________________________ From: Mosior, Benjamin [BEM...@sh...] Sent: Friday, January 04, 2013 12:58 PM To: vuf...@li... Subject: [VuFind-Tech] VF2 Language File Caching Wiki Documentation I’ve updated the language/localization support documentation for VF2 in the wiki<http://vufind.org/wiki/vufind2:language_localization_support#formatting_language_files> with a note regarding an issue we’ve encountered with caching: “Note: If modifications to a language file do not take effect, sometimes it is necessary to clear out the local directory language cache by removing the local/cache/languages directory. The directory should be recreated automatically.” The above is based only from our experience, so please feel free to revise. Is that considered an acceptable way to “flush” the language cache?
