we would like to use VuFind as a discovery tool, indexing resources
from the library (e.g the MARC record from the OPAC, the repository
ecc) and free one (DOAJ, Open access journals...).
Did anyone in this list write an XSL for batch import of harvested
records from DOAJ or other resources like that?

It looks like DOAJ supports Dublin Core output, so for basic support it should be fairly easy to adapt one of the existing DC-based XSL sheets (for example, OJS). If you want to use the DOAJ-specific schema (http://www.doaj.org/schemas/doajArticles.xsd) that will take a bit more work, but the field mappings should be pretty straightforward, and it would allow Aperture full text indexing (through the fullTextUrl field) and also detailed article-level data that might work well with Markus Fischer's article index patch (http://vufind.org/jira/browse/VUFIND-258).
If you need guidance once you've started working with this, I'll be happy to help with XSL troubleshooting, etc. If you are able to build a DOAJ schema XSL, it would also be a great addition to the trunk if you are willing to share it!
