Doug - are you using version 0.7 or the latest code from the SVN repository? It seems as if you are using 0.7 - so I will assume that is what you are using. To verify that the importer worked and loaded your records into the SOLR index - you can check to see the records have been loaded by looking at the SOLR admin page. Try going to http://localhost:8080/solr/admin and then clicking on statistics. You will want to see how many documents are in the index. You can also look under the update handler to see if there are any pending documents. Let us know if you have any records loaded in your index and then we can take it from there.
