When you facet on a field, you see the analyzed version of the text (Solr manipulates text during indexing).  This is why it is usually best to only facet in raw string fields.  VuFind’s default schema (solr/biblio/conf/schema.xml) includes several copyField directives that create facet-friendly versions of fields that are normally analyzed – you might want to look at this for some examples.  If that doesn’t help, let us know which field(s) you are using for faceting that are causing the problem and we can suggest some workarounds.

Subject: [VuFind-General] Facets breaking words

Hello, everyone!
I have an instance of Vufind running on a windows server that is exhibiting an unusual behavior in facets: it's breaking words with '.' or '_', for example:
beautiful_house is divided into two words: beautiful and house.
Besides all the words are getting lowercase.
Does anyone know what can be?

Thank you in advance.
