When you import, it should create log files (I believe called import-log and error-log) in the import folder under your VuFind installation.  Do you see any messages there that might help you figure out your problem?

Also, do your MARC files have a .MRC extension?  Some importers have problems with other file extensions.  I don't think that should be a problem with 1.0RC1, but it's worth trying if nothing else is helping.

Subject: [VuFind-General] Importing records

Hello friends,
I had tried the vuifnd older version and I can able to import records in that search but in the latest release vufind1.0RC1, I installed successfully but I cannot import records. In the older version I copy the records into import folder and then I execute the import.sh script to import the records. I did the same in this but it is not importing records. Can any one help me how to import records in latest version.
