Have you tried redirecting the output of import-marc.sh to a log file?  I usually find that helpful in tracking down errors, since if you filter out all the “Added record…” lines, you are left with just the errors:

./import-marc.sh my-records.mrc > import.log

cat import.log | grep -v Added

Subject: [VuFind-General] Import Errors??

I'm  using import-marc.sh against records that were exported from an Innovative Interfaces system, and a number of records are not getting into solr, but I am not sure why--most records are getting in fine.  I've been looking for some error log options, but do not see any settings that enable or disable logging. I see that the script has a location for ERROR_LOG, but no file is created even though these records are getting ignored. Can someone tell me where I might find or enable the capture of these errors.  I suppose I can just create a couple of very small load files and see what is happening with a few records.
