I don’t think the JMX error is significant – I see the same “INFO” message and my server is healthy.  Is that all you are seeing on the restart, or are there other messages as well?  Perhaps the best thing is to capture the full output of your Jetty startup and share it here so we can look for other possible problems.  Try:


export JETTY_CONSOLE=/tmp/jetty.log

./vufind.sh restart


Now all of the status messages should be captured in /tmp/jetty.log.
