Hi Luke,

I have set up an overnight dump of new and updated records. When a location changes in our holdings record this is recorded in our Oracle database by date, time and operator. It is then easy to pick this up in an sql where clause.

Subject: [VuFind-Tech] Location Facet

Dear All,

I would like to add a library location facet to out VUfind instance and was wondering if anyone can fill me in on how they have approached the issue. The major issue I can foresee is when an item changes library e.g. when a librarian transfers the book from library a to library b. How is this change managed in solr? Is it just picked up by nightly updates of the index?
