** NOTE: In this version of vteddy, profiles are limited to 2. This means that you can not create more than two profiles. You can unlock this feature by purchasing the commercial version of the application. **

Profiles are used to define the privileges of each user towards data and views. You can decide which fields the user can see, which data he can modify, which data are considered private and/or public.

Customized access privilege are the easiest way to meet specific needs:

• work with some modules
• see specific data within some modules
• create or modify specific data within some modules
• import and export data from some modules

Privileges types:

• Global Privileges: when you create a profile, the global privileges allow you to decide which information/modules the user can see, create, edit and delete
  • View all: allows you to view all information/modules
  • Edit all: allows you to edit all information/modules
• Field’s Privileges: you can decide which CRUD functions can be made for each field
• Settings: you can make decision about functions as import/export, leads conversion, etc

** How to create a new profile? **

To see the profiles list and create a new profile, go to: Settings > Profiles.

Click on New profile.

Set detailed access privileges for each module, or choose a general privilege:

• view all: allows to view all the information/modules
• edit all: allows to edit all the information/modules
