In this place you will find the help guide for a standard installation of vteddy. We recommend you read this guide to familiarize yourself with how to install vteddy.
To get started, you need to download vteddy.
Now, you have to copy & paste your vteddy archive file in your webserver path. After pasting vteddy file, you'll need to extract the source file in your apache web root directory.
If you're going to run the installation on Linux Server, you'll need to provide permissions for the vteddy folder; use the following commands:
chmod -R 775 vteddy_folder
chown -R <apache_user>:<apache_group> vteddy_folder</apache_group></apache_user>
Now, make sure that you start Apache and MySql, then open your browser and access your vteddy by using your IP address.
For instance, http://localhost/vteddy

After clicking on Install, you have to agree vteddy license.

The system will check your PHP configurations. Please, make sure that the required values are in compliance with present values. The recommanded PHP settings are not mandatory, so if they are not complied, the installation will not stop.

Click Next to proceed with the installation.
Now it's time to provide Mysql credentials of your server. Put them under Database Information block. You can also populate the database with demo data.
Also, configure default currency through VTEDDY Configuration block and your personal information in the User Information block. Click on Next.

Now you have to confirm your configuration settings.

Also, you can choose to install extra optional packages, then click on Next.

You're done! Within just a few seconds, your vteddy account will be ready for use.
