[Vtd-xml-announcement] how to move vtd-xml 2.11 c++ version to a 64-bit system?

Dear sir,
i recently use the vtd-xml 2.11 c++ version  to develop a application, it works well on a 32-bit system,such as window xp, but now for some reasons i have to move the project to a 64-bit system, and as you know ,the vtd-xml version cannot work the right way. and i have 2 questions :
 (1) .  is there any plan to develop a 64bit version of the component？
 (2).  would you please give me some advices on how to move a 32-bit version to a 64-bit version？
