Can anyone post for me a tutorial how to compile the C Version.
In my case calling with "cygwin" or mingw under windows the makefile causes following error und VTD 2.4 :
In file included from vtdNav.c:19:
vtdNav.h:347: error: parse error before "FILE"
vtdNav.h:359: error: parse error before "FILE"
Also I would like to know how to setup Visual Studio to compile it in there or let the C Sharp version run.
It seems that no project files are included in the distribution.
On the other hand the Java version runs fine.
I just downloaded version 2.4 C#, and it seems to be missing the xpath folder, so it doesn't compile.
Is the C# version supported?
C# is very well supproted just like Java.. did you download the full version?
did you put the dll's in the right place?
Just tried compiling the Java in VS2003 (which I have installed for ancient stuff) under J# and it chokes on "missing class ByteBuffer". Perhaps VS2005 would compile it - VS2008 doesn't have J# so I can't compile it there. Sigh.
I am not sure if J# is compatible with Java 1.4 (or later versions), I heard from someone on this, but not 100% certain.
why don't you try compiling on J#? why not JDK using eclipse?
Martin, the java version hasn't been test for J#, it is developed and tested using jdks... my suggestion is that you need to check to see whether byteBuffer is in the files/paths that you compile... let me know how it goes...
