So stay tuned for a new version in october.
vStats is a php/mysql based website counter. It collects all the hits of a website and generates detailed statistics of the visitors, e.g. their origin is displayed in a dynamic and zoomable flash world map.
Version 0.9.8 is the second release of vStats for the public. This release contains new features like IP address blocking and also some bugfixes. It has been tested extensive in several environments but should not be considered as final stable version of vStats. ... read more
Due to the unplanned downtime of the Sourceforge subversion repository, the release of the new version 0.9.8 is delayed.

The project has been renamed from tbf-phpcounter to vStats. vStats is an abbreviation for "visitor statistics".
The sourcegorge.net unix name of this project has been renamed, too, so please update your bookmarks.
The new Project URL is now "http://sourceforge.net/projects/vstats/" and the new Homepage URL is "http://vstats.sourceforge.net/"
From today, SVN will be used for version control.
All CVS history (until now) is still available, but no more updates will be made there.
The beta relase of the tbf-phpcounter is delayed due to a major bug in the statistic collection routine. As soon as it is fixed the beta will be released for testing.
Estimated release date is April 18th.
The first files have been committed!
Development advances and the first beta testing release can be expected not later than march 2006.
Due to personal reasons the development of the counter was stopped. But soon it will be restarted from scratch with better code and more features!
So stay tuned!!!
