#652 Populate star groups and target entry via an API query
In the May 2019 VStar CHOICE course, Kristine suggested (and Whit agreed) the idea of being able to populate a star group list with arbitrary target names.
This is interesting and I can see how it would be useful. I have often thought that such a feature would also be useful when typing something into the AID load dialog's Star box.
A REST web service or similar would need to exist to get the result of such a query, e.g. VSX (but would not contain all targets as I understand it), Simbad, ...
The wording here is unclear.
