I have sent you a couple of e-mails on this topic in the past and I know it is on your to-do list. Attached is a very concrete example of default parameters calculated in accordance with the VStar manual pg. 70 and Analyzing Light Curves vs. the values VStar Actually uses. I haven’t a clue what causes the difference and I can’t reconcile the two sets of values.
I am not trying to hurry you. I just thought a very concrete example would make the investigation easier. You can see from my calculations exactly how I came up with the calculated values per the manual. Please tuck this info away in whatever “Bugzilla” item number this topic is recorded.
