In discussion with Sebastian Otero and Sara Beck, we need a plug-in that allows customised conversion or HJD flagging (if the user knows such files are really already HJD) of each loaded dataset.
"HJD flagging" is not yet supported. VStar relies upon the observation source plugin. Could have "Mark dataset as HJD " and "Mark dataset as BJD" menu items. Another ticket?

I think we have this covered via the plugin now.
