I loaded a text file into VStar 1.0 that consists of two columns:

year age

...where age is the age of an AAVSO member when they joined the organization (which is year). This is to do an analysis about whether members are getting older over time. It seems like VStar excluded all entries with an age >25. So I'm assuming a filter has been put in VStar at that point. I know VStar was never designed for non-variable star analysis. But if you get rid of that limit, then it can be used for a wide variety of time series application. The old VStar/WWZ programs on our web site are often downloaded by aeronautical engineers and doctors, for example.
