We have bundled new 'free croatia' package.
This is 3D model of Croatia, generated with planet-earth.org tools, with 3 locations built from CAD and photo sources.

VRSpace is working away at putting out v095 this June. New features will include:
1) A new HUD which will allow users to see who is online, all gates available for teleporting, scrolling chat text, user preferences menu, and assorted other functionality.
2) The WorldEditor: Scene Author regularly manipulate the properties of the VRObject they own. These VRObjects includes those media files that are uploaded to a space, and their properties ( location, size ). This has always been achieved through text commands at the console, but we are working hard to make our interface for building worlds as easy as possible through gui interfaces.
3) Docs, docs, docs! A whole slew of new tutorials and documentation is being produced. Stay tuned.
4) Games - we have some new classes the house multiuser boardgames. First slated release is Chess.
5) Various new commands and supporting VRObjects with improved support of ownership per event.
6) Extension to the VRML Api including functions ( call back events ), remote and local intercommunication of VRObjects.

We are rapidly moving towards our 0.9.5 release. New functionality along the way (which can be followed through the cvs snapshots and online at vrspace.org) includes:
1) Integration of uploading through the white_dune editor, adding to our existing embedded uploader in Chisel.
2) A new interface is on the way. This vrml application has scrolling text, users online listings, gates onlines, and a preferences editor. This is the beginning of the VRSpace window manager which will be available via systems call to all vrml applications.
3) World Editor - we are moving towards full remote world editing for scene authors and administrators. Complementing the uploader, the world editor will allow manipulation of a user's owned object via an embedded interface. An object palette is planned as well.
4) Several new VRObjects available to vrml app developers are being created, including WebGates, and ChatRooms. Access Control Lists have also been integrated into the ownership model for more detailed security specifications.
