I have been using vRenamer (v1.6.0) for years. I also use it in class with my students. I have encountered the following bug. I did a test to slightly tweak the name of certain files. If the files are on a drive synchronised with Google Drive (G:\ drive), it doesn't work. Apparently everything is fine (see screenshot 1). But when you hit run, you get a "No file renamed" warning (see screenshot 2). And sure enough, nothing has changed. I thought it might be because of the total length of the URI....

Hey everyone! Is there a way to add a checkbox at each rename combine itens so that it can be turned on/off? Is it possible to edit the software having the code? thanks in adv.

Hi In your home directory, you can find a folder called vRenamerOptions. Inside that folder, remove the file called vrenamerLast and see if that fixes it. Hope it helps, the project is discontiued due to lack of time right now and I can't upload new versions for now.

Hello! I've been using vRnamer 1.5.8 for months (running on Windows 7) -- and absolutely love it! However, all of a sudden, I can't get the application to open. When I enter "start vRenamer_1.5.8.exe" from the command prompt, the start screen / vRenamer logo appears, flashes for a few seconds, and then nothing happens; the app won't run. Unfortunately, I'm not the "IT" guy, so do not have administrative privileges (as in, can't modify values with regedit or anything like that). Anyone have any ideas...
