#5 Guarenteed message delivery for non-private

We have been testing with using Wifi between our
laptops. We find that many of the messages that we send
do not get through, but all private messages do.

What would be great would be to have an option to send
messages to a channel that uses the same transport
mechanism as private chat.

most probably it's because your wifi setup doesn't transfer
broadcast packets ?
it would not be ok to use the same mechanism for channels as
for private chats, because that's how it's supposed to work
(using broadcast/multicast to ease load on network).
i'm wondering.. does the native (windows client) work for you?

vqcc 0.5 have the same transport mechanism for private chat
and channel messages! It is send all messages via broadcast
or multicast, so some times vypress chats thinks that vqcc
flooder and ignore it. I'm write patch to correct this
