I have the Vive HMD, I tried Stream VR manual overide from 100% up to 168% it doesn't seem to make a diffrence in the VP rendering. It's is Blurry but playable. I notice if I move the head set to within a couple inches of the playfield or DMD the image is clear, as soon as you move away it gets blurry. I have trouble reading the DMD unless I move closer to it.

The issue is the resolution of the Vive itself. It is just to low for a regular DMD. I should add a feature where the backbox and the DMD can be scaled.

Ok, but I also have blurryness on the actual playfield, is that Vive resolution as well? What resolution are you sending the image from in VP?

For the blurry playfield you can check go to Table=>Image Manager and check if the actual playfield image looks sharper than in VR. Also check in Video/Graphics Options if the Max Texture Dimension is set to unlimited.
If the original image has a higher resolution than what you see in VR and if the Texture Dimension is set to unlimited this might be a bug (maybe caused by Mipmapping/Aniostrophic filtering). I will take a closer look to it at the weekend.

    Thanks for the response Sebastian,
Max texture is set to unlimited and the tables look good with the twin playfield images displayed on the Computer's (1680X1050.) monitorwhen VR is active.
The Vive headset 1080 x 1200 pixels per eye (2160 x 1200 pixels combined) is a higher resolution the the PC's monitor.
Since the video settings in the VP editor only see and effect the computer's display. How does VP know what resolution to use for the VR Headset? Is there a mismatch between them somehow?

Does ACDC look clear on your Vive headset? Can you read the inserts from a normal playing position. Like I mentioned before, If I move the headset to within 2-3 inches of the rendered playfield the image is very sharp. It's only as I move back that it gets blurry.

Image quality will hopefully go up a lot in the next release, also try the "Brute-force 4x SSAA" setting in video options, if your computer can handle it that will give a good bump in quality as it will supersample the output.
