i don't know if you're just saying this to generate traffic, but i've  
been using dovecot for the better part of a year now (since mrsam gave  
up on vpopmail) and so far i've been much happier with it than i ever  
was with courier-imap.

my only complaint is that it doesn't lend itself to working with  
daemontools as easily as courier-imap did... at least not if you want  
to have imap-localhost, imap-ssl, and pop3-ssl all running as separate  
daemontools services. it *can* be done, but it's not as straight- 
forward as it was with courier-imap.

anyway, now that i know the list is working, i can start another  
thread with a real conversation. thanks for replying and letting me  
know that the list mechanism itself is still working.
