zombie UML processes when -d with kernel 2.6.9-skas3-v7
Status: Beta
Brought to you by:
ferminium
Host kernel: 2.6.9-skas3-v7
UML kernel: 2.6.8.1-1m, 2.6.9-1m
Root_fs: 0.2.2
When destroying a simulation with -d, the UML processes
doesn't finalize, they remains executin "halt"
processes forever.
Using host kernel 2.6.5-skas, that problem doesn't
appear, so it's seem to be a 2.6.9 specific issue
(maybe 2.6.6, 2.6.7 and 2.6.8 host kernels have the
same behaviour, but this hasn't been checked so far).
.config file of both host kernels is included, in order
to futher debugging.
.config file for 2.6.5-skas host kernel
.config file for 2.6.9-skas3-v7 host kernel
