Do you think anyone would bother to download and install yet
another language only for running vnc2swf?  At least I wouldn't.
Python was an okay choice for me.  It is somewhat prevalent, and
not awful to write.  Some people asked why I didn't choose Java
though, Java looks like another gigantic dinosaur you want to
avoid as much as possible nowadays. I always like a simple and
tiny, but "just works" one.

I like the python choice.  In the last few months, it has become my favorite 
language.  I took lisp in college - neat, probably has its uses, I have wanted 
lisp functionality in other languages, but that's about it.
