"username" is not asked for, and is *not* supported in the vnc rfb protocol, BTW which I think should be expanded to cover it. Anyway, you ought to look closely at the command line arguments of vnc2swf.py you'll see that you can specify a password from the command line. [ou@frag pyvnc2swf]$ ./vnc2swf.py --help Using pygame 1.8.0release usage: vnc2swf.py [-d] [-n] [-o filename] [-t {shape|video|vnc}] [-e encoding] [-N] [-C clipping] [-r framerate] [-z] [-m] [-a] [-S subprocess] [-P pwdfile] [host[:display] [port]] [ou@frag pyvnc2swf]$ > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Astan Chee" <st...@al...> > To: vnc...@li... > Subject: [Vnc2swf-users] screenshot vnc in python > Date: Tue, 08 Jul 2008 11:10:14 +1000 > > > Hi, > Im trying to capture of a VNC screen in python but the vnc server > requires username/password authentication.
