It will depend on many things, like framerate, output type, w/ audio, amount of screen changes and updates...
What usually limits the length is a Flash limit for the object id number.
I would recommend choosing to record as vnc type and transforming it into "video" type with edit.py.  This way you can test it with different framerates or even break it into shorter movies if necessary.
This way you can even try to transform into "shape" type, if you wish to compare the results.
