I have 2 PCs, both with two network cards. the PCs are connected via
a crossed network cable (private network).
- PC1 is dualboot: SuSE Linux 9.3 and Windows98
The Linux has a VNC server running and configured.
network card 1 is not used, network card 2 is set to 192.168.0.2
[ If I boot PC1 to Windows98, I can share files and view them on PC2 ]
- PC2 has Windows XP SP2 with TightVNC installed (full)
network card 1 is used for connecting to the Internet, network card 2
is set to 192.168.0.3
On the windows PC I tried VNCViewer to connect to the VNC Server on PC1
"192.168.0.2" but it answers: failed to connect to server
What can be the problem ?
(trying to connect via networkcard1 on PC2 ? but how to make it use card2?)
Thanx for nay hints
