I can log into server and see server but CANNOT get my viewer to control the server machine? i.e. open apps or files?
I checked properties and remote keybd and mouse ARE NOT disabled?
I checked postings and can't seem to find an answer either?
what am I doing wrong?
server session is installed on home PC - running win 98
attach thru internet browser or viewer from a different machine using win 2000
have a linksys router and cable modem?
Any help is greatly appreciated...

got this sorta working, but not sure if its doing what it should.
It aways starts with KDE on the remote, using KDE login manager and
setting it to gnome does nothing.
Loging outof the remote vnc leaves Xvnc still running, so each time its
restart the vncserver on the remote machine, or next time no DM.
That dos'nt seem right ????
tightvnc ver 1.2.7 istalled
I am running tightvnc on SuseLinux and when I tried ran the
vncviewer.exe the password would not take for read only or read write.
I then got the Authentication Failure too many tries. I used the
vncpasswd command and I still get the too many tries. How do I reset
the too many tries?
