Hello, I recently uninstalled RealVNC and installed TightVNC on my Windows 2003 server however I am running into a problem. I regeistered TightVNC as a service however I cannot log-on if I reboot the server. The service starts but I get odd error messages when connecting such as "connection closed". The same thing happens if the workstation is locked after a screen saver has started etc... I uninstalled TightVNC and noticed that it did not remove the VNC server service from the system. I then went into the registry editor and tried to remove everything VNC related but I was unable to delete the LEGACY_VNC key. Anybody have an idea as to what I can do here? Thank you. - Aaron --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile. Try it now. |
