my linux x64 runs under vmware, and vmware runs under windows 7 x64. VNC is enabled on vmware for this linux vm so i use tightvnc connect to vmware

when i reboot linux, there 2 chances that cause tightvnc to stop working, the vnc window however is responsive, just the vnc turns black and stop updating from remote site
1. when booting vmware bios, switching to grub loader, before grub menu is shown -> vnc window become smaller (as per request by grub screen resolution change), then black screen, stop updating
2. restart vnc, reconnect to bring grub menu screen back. select any kernel, boot kernel, kernel will boot, showing a few kernel boot log (something like device kernel screen resolution change), then black screen, stop updating
