Dell Optiplex FX170 running OS "WES 7" (Windows 7 embedded) is a thin client using Devon IT echo server.
THe echo server has java applet acting as client viewer and VNC reflector 1.2.4.
When right clicking on the machine showing [if the Devon IT agent is connected] we can select "VNC shadowing". this loads the java, and initiate through the agent a reverse VNC from the thin client port 5900 onto port 5500.
On OS "WES 2009" (windows WP embedded SP3) all is good, but on the WES7 thin client, connection fails to connect
I did went to the "uvnc_service" and select "Allow services to interact with desktop”, and adding -autoconnection -connect 192.168.335.100::5500 to the command line option in the ultravnc.ini (Ultra VNC version 1.0.8.2). it does connect once, then once it a while, but il would say less than 10 percent of the time
I did try reverse VNC (5500) , normal access [5900], web access [1800] from a WES2009 and windows 7 machine to that "WES 7" thin client, all works both ways... it is an issue with VNC reflector impacting WES 7, possibly windows 7, but couldn't test
