Dear Lucia, your pipe seems to be ok. I tried to use it to convert a simple mesh.vtu file into .lifev and it worked. In order to better understand the problem I suggest to try: vmtkmeshwriter -ifile mesh.vtu -f lifev -entityidsarray CellEntityIds -ofile mesh.lifev entityidsarray it is usually CellEntityIds but you can check it by using vmtkmeshreader -ifile mesh.vtu Kind Regards Simone -- Simone Manini, Eng Orobix Srl via L.A.
