Hi David, centerline resampling generates centerlines with an even spacing between points. The default value is the distance between points in physical units. The parent class is the classical vtkPolyDataAlgorithm, you can use either SetInput or SetInputConnection, analogously to most VTK classes. Centerline projection projects data defined on centerlines (like scalars or vectors) onto the surface. It uses radius because it's a more robust way of locating what centerline point every surface points corresponds to. It uses closest point to the tube surface, instead of Euclidean distance to the centerline, it's quite robust. There's no direction - direction-based projections are often rather weak.
