I like to code in xcode on my 1200x1920 or 1080x1920 monitor (90 deg rotation) is this possible using this driver / vmware?

At present, the driver doesn't support the functionality required by the WindowServer to rotate the display. If I have time in the future, I'll look into doing this.

As a workaround, you can set any full-display resolution you want by enabling the fullscreen autofit guest option in the host, and then switching to fullscreen. It's necessry to install VMware Tools and the guestd_patches for fit-guest/autofit-guest to work.
