#67 Need gethostid() routine

The coreutils 8.21 package expects an operating system to provide a gethostid() method even though the routine appears to be depreciated.

Each OS appears to do something different to generate a persistent pseudo random number.

The workaround is to provide a routine that returns the scssystemid.
