No

Could you please provide an example log4j.properties
and vmpsd.properties file with parameters for MySQL
database logging? I would like to be able to log
which switch and port the request is coming from in a
database rather than have it goto the console. If
this is possible any information is appreciated,
thanks.
This is a pretty impressive little program, Great
Work!

    The new ICARUS VMPSd 1.2.1 supports logging of the
    following information to a database table: time of
    assignment, VMPS domain name, client IP address, port
    name, MAC address, and VLAN name. This database logging
    is not provided by Log4J.

    See the doc/INSTALL.txt (in vmpsd-1.2.1-src.zip) for the
    proper MySQL query to create the log table.

    Then you'd enable logging to database by putting this in
    your vmpsd.properties:

    db.logUri=jdbc:mysql://10.20.30.40/your_db_name?
    user=y&password=z&connectionCollation=ascii_bin

    db.logTable=your_log_table_name

    (Note, that's two lines; the first one wraps here but
    shouldn't in your vmpsd.properties.)

    Thanks!! That did it.

    I can't get over your response time, that was better than
    I've received from any commercial vendor!
