I think that the syntax for the date is a bit odd and should be changed and/or modified to accommodate a few different types of formats. Right now you must submit it in the following form: yyyy-mm-dd. Typically, I submit dates into databases using the form of mm/dd/yyyy. Although this may seem a bit nit picky, this can be quite annoying if you are entering multiple persons in the database.
