I am very intersted in this technology, but alas this group appears to be inactive these days. My attempts to contact the original developers have not been successful. Does anyone else share this interest? Would anyone be interested in getting vIDE working again?
Regards,
Graham

This project is no longer mantained by us.
We have diferent interests now but it'll be nice if someone interested could took over this project and continue to develop it.
If this is to happen, we will help getting the things moving.
About this project: we are not convinced anymore that is a good idea to write an interpreter for this language in java. vIDE it's nice for educational work but it has no chance in industry.
The person who wrote the interpreter engine ( alec ) moved to a "VHDL to C compiler". That might be interesting to you. Please check the project at http://sourceforge.net/projects/vhdlc/
thank u for your interest.

I would indeed be interested in taking over this project and continuing its development. Clearly I would greatly appreciate any assistance I can get to get things underway.

Graham
