I think an update would be a great idea. I have tried to use vJDBC but I keep getting:
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (de.simplicit.vjdbc.server.con
fig.VJdbcConfiguration).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
