VJDBC - Remote access for JDBC-Datasources
==========================================

Instructions
------------
Unzip to installation directory.

See index.html in the docs directory.

Required JARs are distributed in the lib subdirectory.

For usage on the client you only need the following JAR files:
   vjdbc.jar
   commons-logging-1.1.jar
   commons-httpclient-3.0.1.jar (optional, replacement for JDK-URLConnections)
   commons-codec-1.3.jar (optional when Jakarta HttpClient is used)

A VJDBC server component needs the following JARs:
   vjdbc.jar
   vjdbc_server.jar
   commons-beanutils-core.jar
   commons-collections-3.2.jar
   commons-dbcp-1.2.1.jar
   commons-digester-1.7.jar
   commons-logging-1.1.jar
   commons-pool-1.3.jar
   jakarta-oro-2.0.8.jar
   log4j-1.2.8.jar (optional)
   + the JAR(s) containing the native JDBC driver(s)
