Hi Simon,

Thanks for finding this out. Yes, it can be added to the startup process. vs-X is probably the right place to create this directory. VizStack can run on multiple nodes; and /var/run/vizstack is needed on all nodes. I'll also have to remove /var/run/vizstack from the RPM packaging I think.

Can you file this as an issue on SourceForge bug trackers ?

With Ubuntu everything under /var/run is cleared out after a reboot, and /var/run/vizstack isn't recreated when vs-ssm starts up - is there any chance that could be added to the startup process?
