[Visualswing-developers] Visual Swing update

We're getting the development team assembled.  There will be at least 4 
more developers added later this week or early next.  After that, we 
should have plenty of talent to move this project forward.

Next week, I'll be posting some ad hoc tasks that people can take and 
run with.  This isn't anything official, just thoughts on what we'll 
need to get done.  If you have an idea of something that needs to be 
done, either post it to the mailing list, or email me directly.

Between now and then, please feel free to post ideas or questions about 
what Visual Swing should include.  From time to time, I may mention the 
"final product".  While Open Source projects are never "final", and they 
aren't really "products", this is my way of talking about what we want 
the program to be when it's completed.  We'll try to accomodate 
everyone's wishes, but if we hit a conflict and we must decide to go 
either left or right, Jonathan gets to be the deciding vote (it is his 
project after all).

This mailing list should be a dumping ground for you all to share ideas, 
argue about design issues and congratulate each other on achievements. 
If you have questions about getting work done, even if it's not related 
to Visual Swing, go ahead and ask your fellow developers if anyone has 
skills to help you.  The mailing list is our "office" and I hope we can 
have a really informal workplace.
