Actually, when I had my first date with VPython, I told myself, how nice
to have *objects*, permitting to do high-level animation, etc., you change
the attributes, and the visual avatar modifies itself. And then I got a
nasty surprise: why cameras/viewports do not follow this protocol? Well,
why? Especially, if - as myself, but our name is Legion, and Bruce S. is
therein - for people interested in the simulation of physical systems,
having a coherent, uniform approach to entities present within a program
is a blessing.
Of course, there are priorities of the developers... But perhaps the user
community may help.
