Are there any known problems using py2exe with VPython? I seem to be having
them. I am searching the web trying to find references to any.

I have used it successfully.  Do not remember if I had to do some 
workaround stuff.

Was it necessary to change __init__.py to vpython.py?

Ran into the need to do that somewhere in my journeys.

you will the VPython Tower of Hanoi demo as a Windows exe.

Looking inside it may give you a clue.

That would be visual.py
